About our Golf Day

St John SA holds an annual charity Golf Day to raise funds for our First Aid in Schools (FAiS) Program. This is a community initiative that St John SA provides to schools free of charge. As a charity, we rely heavily on generous donors and sponsors to fund this program.

FAiS teaches vital first aid skills to students from Reception to Year 6, covering topics such as how to call an ambulance, dealing with an unconscious person, fundamental first aid principles, and even cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for older students. The cost to teach one student is $10; with our goal to train 10,000 primary school students each year, you can understand how vital our Golf Day is to raise funds to sustain the program.

You can support this valuable initiative by registering a team, generously donating an item for the activities hosted on the day, sponsoring areas of the event, or donating throughout your fun day on the Green.
